M.E.D. Switchgear Equipment
A tender of £28,730 by the Hamer Electrical Company, Ltd., was accepted by the City Council last evening for 11.000 volt switchgear to be installed as part of the equipment of a new district substation to be housed in the Municipal Electricity Department's existing building on the corner of Montreal
street and Moorhouse avenue. Six tenders ranged from the accepted one, which was the lowest, to £41,890.
