TRANSPORT PLAN FOR CITY
Outline To Meeting Proposed The Regional Planner <Miss Nancy Northcroft) will be asked to read her paper on the master transport plan for metropolitan Christchurch at a special meeting in Riccarton. The Mayor of Riccarton (Mr E. J. Bradshaw) suggested the meeting to another of the Riccarton Borough Council last evening. Mr Bradshaw said Miss Northcroft’s paper was a “valuable and thoughtprovoking document" He suggested asking the Riccarton Rotary, Riccarton Businessmen’s Association. Riccarton Jaycees and other interested bodies to attend the meeting. The public and constituent councils rtiould be acquainted with the plan as soon as possible, Mr Bradshaw said.
