UNREST IN GHANA.—The life-sized statue of President Nkrumah, in Accra, which was damaged by a bomb explosion, last week. The photograph on the right was taken after the explosion, which shattered the feet of the statue and tore away part of the inscription, “ Founder of the Nation.” Two other bomb outrages have since occurred in Accra. Under Ghana’s new law, bomb users face the death penalty, if Convicted but so far no-one has been arrested or charged.
