Your first appointment as a Trainee for Management could take you to the position of Manager in an average training period of 3 years. SALARIES If you wore accepted into the Company at 22 years of ago, your starting salary would be £825 p.a. and, depending on your progress, could bo increased to £l,lOO p.e. within three yeers. (Many of our young men have reached managerial positions in under two years, but the overage is three years.) Salaries are reviewed every six months during the first two years as a Manager, and so you could rise to £1,400 in two years, depending on results. With experience and ability, you can rise to a salary of £2.500 and above. Two thousand five hundred .pounds p.a. is not the coiling in Woolworths salary plan, and salaries in excess of this are paid in many branches of Woolworths business. TRAINING Woolworfhs Training Programme is a fully-planned course of instruction, and covers all aspects of retail trading All development of Woolworths Trainees is done under the supervision of the Branch Manager and top executive, and the emphesis is on practical experience.
