Cardio-Tachometer Perfected
(N.Z Press Association) NEW PLYMOUTH. November 12. Revolutionising the surgeon's and anaesthetist’s work during an operation, a machine which gives a complete indication of a patient’s heart condition and breathing system has been invented and perfected by two New Plymouth men. The compact. box-like cardio-tachometer has been judged by experts to be far ahead of anything of its type in the world. The designers of the invention are Mr D. R McCallum, a radio technician, and Mr R. Ingles, a constructional engineer.
