Results: Papatoetoe 158 for eight wickets declared (J. G. Collinge 4 tor 23) and 172 for nine wickets (R. M. Harris 50) beat University 154 and 175 for three wickets declared (P, P. W. Morris 70 not out, D. Hendl 44 not out), by one wicket. Grafton, 340, beat Eden, 246 (R. S. Cunis 63 not out, P. Scott 50, J. D. Behrent 43, A. Cook 4 for 68), on the first innings. North Shore, 212 and 92 for five wickets, beat Suburbs, 186 <C. Sligo 55, W. B. Norman 54, K. Butler 5 for 47), cm the first innings. Eastern, 170 for six declared and 104 for seven, beat Cornwall, 118 and 174 (L. A. Green 57, G. O. Rabone 5 for 34).
