£350 Taken From Safe
(N.Z. Press Association} AUCKLAND. Nov. 12. Thieves stole about £350 from a safe in the Ambassadors Hotel, Quay street Auckland, between midnight and 5 am. today. Of the money stolen, £l2B belonged to two guests. A housemaid arriving at the hotel to begin work discovered the empty safe lying on the floor in front of the lift It had been removed from the first floor. The thieves left £lB worth of pennies in the safe. -
