Commission Of Inquiry

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Oct. 29. The Wellington Chamber of Commerce will press for a Commission of Inquiry into the establishment of the Nelson cotton mill. It will ask the Government to rescind the agreement if a commission considers the proposal unjustified. The council of the chamber will seek the backing of Associated Chambers of Commerce in its bid for an inquiry, according to a statement issued yesterday. One purpose of the commission, according 'to the statement, would be to avoid similar types of agreement in the future.
