Seven Presbyterians For New Delhi

Seven of the 25 New Zealand delegates to attend the assembly of the World Council of Churches in New Delhi next month are Presbyterians. They are the Rev. J. M. Bates (Dunedin), the Rev. R. M. Rogers (Christchurch), and Mr D. N. Perry (Opotiki), who are the official delegates; the convener of the overseas missions committee of the Presbyterian Church of New Zealand (the Rev. D. B. Martin), who is the official visitor; the Rev. A. Whitelaw and his wife, who will attend as press officers; and Miss M. Moore, who is the youth delegate.

Mr Perry has been attending conferences on stewardship around the world. The delegates will visit the Presbyterian mission stations in India and South-east Asia during their trip.
