Women’s Cricket J. Dickinson Scores Flawless 118

A flawless 118 retired by the young St. Albans batsman, J. Dickinson, was a feature of second-round matches in the Christchurch

women's cricket competition on Saturday. In the same match two other players, P. Adair and E. Woods, both of Western, were elose to centuries. Adair scored 91 not out and Woods 90. Altogether. 447 runs were scored in the afternoon’s play.

Lawson two for 1. In the Mai Moa inning* It was not until A. Rous* (34 not out) and L. Mots (It not out! came together in an unbroken partnership that th* side looked ike passing th* score. The innings was declared closed at 74 for four wicket*. A. Giles, a promising all-rounder from Teachers' College, took three for 15.
