Man Thought Drowned
(N.Z. Press Association) KAITAIA, October 29. A Pukepoto far.ier, Mi Robert Kenneth Adams, is believed to have been swept off rocks while fishing and drowned at the northern end of Ninety-mile Beach this afternoon. A body was reported seen floating face downwards in the surf. Police from Kaitaia, 50 miles away, left this afternoon for Scott's Point, the scene of the tragedy, but had not returned this evening.
