SOLICITOR GUILTY
■ Five Charges Of Theft
(N 2 Press Association) AUCKLAND. Oct. 13. After a retirement of just over four hours in the Supreme Court at Auckland today a jury found Robert William Tennent. aged 29, a company manager, and a former Auckland solicitor, guilty on five charges of theft by misappropriation. He was acquitted on two charges on the direction of Mr Justice Gresson, who presided. The sum of £12,965 8s 6d was involved in the charges which were alleged -to have concerned money held in trust by Tennent for seven of his clients. Tennent was remanded in custody for sentence.
