Twelve boys and one girl were placed under supervision for one year—the girl, aged 14, for drinking liquorin a public place; two 12-year-olds, and one 13-year-old boy for theft; a 13-year-old boy for theft, being on enclosed premises without lawful excuse, and behaving in a disorderly manner; a 14- boy for behaving in a disorderly manner, and being on enclosed premises; a 14-year-old boy for riding a cycle on the footpath, two charges of theft, being on enclosed premises without lawful excuse and behaving in a disorderly manner; a 14-year-old boy for attempted breaking and entering; a 14-year-old boy for theft and indecent assault; two boys aged 14 and 15 years for breaking, entering, and theft, cycle conversion and wilful damage; a 16-year-old boy for breaking, entering, and theft and disorderly behaviour (also fined £2); and a 14-year-old boy charged with theft. Thirteen children were admonished and discharged. They were: a 16-year-old girl for being on licensed premises; a 13-year-old and a 14-year-old boy for theft; a 15-year-old boy for being on enclosed premises and behaving in a disorderly manner; a 16-year-old boy for wilful damage; two boys, aged 13 and 14 years on charges of wilful damage and throwing stones; a 14-yeer-old boy charged with theft, disorderly behaviour, and being on enclosed premises; a 14-year-old boy for .indecent assault on a female; a 16-year-old boy for using indecent language and having an unldghted bicycle; a 12-year-old boy for theft; two boys, aged 10 and 12 years,
