LORDSHIP OUT
No Start At Forbury
The champion three-year-old, Lordship, will not start in the Recovery Handicap on the final night of the Forbury Park Trotting Club's spring meeting tomorrow. Lordship's trainer, D. G. Nyhan, said yesterday that there was nothing amiss with the Johnny Globe colt. He showed brilliant form at the Asli burton trials on Tuesday and is obviously not in need of racing to bring him to his peak for restricted age races at Addington next month. Lordship has been entered for the Oamaru meeting next week, but no decision has yet been made whether he will start there. If he is not taken to Oamaru. Lordship's next run will probably be at the New Zealand Cup trials at Addington on October 31, before the Riccarton Stakes on the opening day of the cup meeting a week later.
