POWER BOARD OFFICERS
Pay Increases In New Award
(NZ. Press Assa~iatlcn < WELLINGTON, Oct 12. Salary rises ranging from £5 to £5O a year are provided for in a new award for electric power board officers issued by the Arbitration Court today. The salary limits which place officers outside the scope of the award have been raised from £lO6O to £lOOO for male officers and from £7OO to £730 for female officers. The award applies to Officers and clerical workers employed by power boards, but not to executive officers of workers covered by other awards or industrial agreements. The provisions in the award relating to rates of pay are retrospective to June 1 last.
