CANTERBURY LIFE BOYS
Special Service On Sunday On Sunday afternoon the Life Boys of the Canterbury area will hold their annual quarterdeck service in St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church. About 300 boys, aged eight to 11, will assemble in Latimer square before parading to the church. The service will be conducted by the Canterbury area supervisor (Mr W. F Bishop) and the assistant supervisor (Mr M. Lumsden); The address will be given by the Rev. C. R. Spracfeett, chaplain to the 21st Christchurch Team, and the Bible reading by Life Boy Murray Barker. The missionary offerings collected during the year by all tiie teams in the Canterbury area for the extension of the Lafe Boys in the South Pacific Islands will be dedicated at this service.
