Taylor’s Mistake Club Although more than £lOOO was spent last year tn building extensions. new costumes, a surf boat and trailer, the Taylor's Mistake Surf Life-saving Club stiU had a large enough balance, said the annual report presented at the club's annual meeting. At present committee members were raising funds for a new fibre-glass surf canoe, and the new craft might take the water tints season. The report said the sudden death of the president. Mr K La Cron, was the biggest loss the elub had suffered tor many years. It was impossible to com-

Hobson, B. Turpin. J. Turpin. G. Prattler. and C. Barltrop; boat captain. i. Green; goer stewards. Mess re M. Regan and C Smith; delegates to Canterbury S US-A ~ Messrs B. Turpin and M Mason; committee. Miss H Broward. Messrs C Smith (3 O’Callaghan. G. Le Cron B. Prebble P. Katchwel’, and M Regan: medical office™ Dr. J. Thompson and Dr. D Symes: honorary auditor, Mr O. Moody.
