SEMINAR ON NURSING
City Superintendent For Tokyo Today
(NX. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Oct. 12. Miss F. J. Cameron, Director of Nursing, Health Department, will leave Christchurch tomorrow for Tokyo to attend a seminar on nursing administration. Accompanying her will be Mrs E. M. F. Chambers, lady superintendent of toe North Canterbury Hospital Board. The seminar, organised by the World Health Organisation, will be held from October 16 to October, 28. Among countries represented will be Australia, Cambodia, Malaya, Japan, Vietnam and the Philippines. The main purpose of the meeting is to bring together those engaged in nursing education and administration, and to find ways and means of improving nursing at all levels. After toe seminar Miss Cameron will go to London by air to chair a meeting of the nursing education committee of toe International Council of Nurses.
