Marchers “Killed With Kindness”

Thg, 31 Western • peace marchers have complained that the Russian authorities have killed their campaign in Moscow with kindness Their Russian hosts had arranged such a number of tourist and cultural trip* for them that there was little time for meeting people, and distributing disarmament leaflets, the group told a press conference. No answer has been received to their request for a meeting with Mr Khrushchev. British United Press reported. The marchers said that the signs that they carried had to be submitted for approval to the Russian peace committee.
Correspondents were also told that the group had promised to abstain from civil disobedience demonstrations while in Russia.

M Morgan) was reported as saying that the council’s expenditure for children's work during the last year was £1498. This Sgure should have been £14.960.
