TAI TAPU FARM NOT SOLD
A 54-acre farm at Tai Tapu was passed in at £9lBO, or £l7O an acre, when offered at auction yesterday on account of Mr A. J. Barnes. Bidding started at £l2O an acre and there were five bids of £lO an acre. The farm is subdivided into 10 paddocks by gorse and wire fencing. There is an eight-roomed brick house on the property, as well as a garage, two sheds, three fowlhouses, and three hay barns.
