Major Barbara In Form For Waipukurau

WELLINGTON, October 6. Spondulicks and Holden, which ran prominently at Hawke’s Bay, and Elrey, which was second to Sir Libra in his last start at the Otaki meeting, are a likely form trio for the Waipukurau Cup, which is the first leg of the T.A.B. double at the Waipukurau Jockey Club’s spring meeting tomorrow.

The second leg of the double is the Flying Handicap, In which there are several good prospects. Major Barbara has shown good form th her two outings this season, being fifth at Marton and a handy third last week at Hastings. She is at the improving stage and should run well.
