SOMERFIELD SCHOOL
50th Anniversary Ball Held The opening of the fiftieth anniversary celebrations of the Somerfleld School was marked last evening by a ball in the tea kiosk at the Show Grounds. At the opening ceremony today an address will be given by the deputy Mayor (Mr H, P- Smith). A conversazione will also be held.
Tonight there will be a banquet at the Show Grounds, and tomorrow a service will be held at St. Nicholas's Church.
A sports day has been arranged for present pupils at the school on Monday, and a reunion of old boys will be held in the Sunnyside-Sprey-don Football Hall that evening.
