Youths Remanded On Rape Charge

WELLINGTON. Oct. 6. Four youths were today remanded on bail to next Friday when they appeared before Mr J. R. Drummond, S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court at Lower Hutt, on a joint charge of raping a 151-year-old girl. They were Allan Bruce Dale, aged 19, Dennis Albert Steffensen, aged 18, and Noel Kenneth McMillan, aged 17, all described as workmen, and Denis Wilson, aged 19, a driver.
