PROMOTION FOR DETECTIVES
Detectives B. J. Crooks and J. P. Crozier, of the Criminal Investigation Branch at Christchurch, have been recommended for promotion to the rank of detective sergeant. Detective Crooks was promoted to a uniform branch sergeant in May this year, but did not accept the promotion as it entailed a transfer from Christchurch.
Detective Crozier was promoted to a uniform branch sergeant in December last year and transferred-to New Plymouth. In May he gave up his rank in New Plymouth to return to Christchurch as a detective.
