The Bishop of Nelson (the Rt Rev. F. O. Huhne-Moir) will leave soon for Fiji, where he will spend 10 days inspecting chaplaincy work and living conditions of Royal New Zealand Air Force personnel. Bishop HulmeMoir has recently returned from Malaya: and Singapore Island, where he carried out similar duties.—(F.O.O.R.) Mr L. F. Hartley, general manager of the South African Wool Board, has resigned. He will shortly take up a position in the public relations division of the AngloAmerican Corporation. Morse, who has been secretary of the Arthur’s Pass National Park Board for the last 10 years, has given up this post because of other commitments of wwk in the Christchurch office of the Lands and Survey Department Mr J. H Forsyth, another member of the Christchurch staff of the department was appointed secretary in place of Mr Morse at a meeting of the board this week. Mr J. B. Palmer, lecturer in Polynesian studies at the Wellington Teachers' Trainbog College, will leave on Friday for a nine months' course of archaeological studv at a Rome centre under UNESCO.- (PA.)
