EGG FRIED IN BREAD.—Yet another way of serving an egg. is to fry it in a slice of bread. Cut a slice of bread an inch thick. Make a deep hole in the middle, but not right through the bread. Fry the bread first on the side with the hole in it then turn. Put the white-of the egg into the hole, then the yolk. Fry over low heat till the egg is cooked. Serve with grilled sausages or bacon, or both. Garnish with tomato sauce.
