SCHOOL TUITION IN ROAD LAWS
Traffic Institute Considers Remit (HZ. Prtn Attociation) DUNEDIN, Oct 3. Instruction in traffic laws and road courtesy as part of the curriculum of all second, ary schools was requested in a remit adopted at the conference of the New Zealand Traffic Institute today. The* remit, "That the Government be requested to institute a system of instruction on traffic laws and- on courtesy for all road users in all secondary schools, as part of the curriculum." was moved by Christchurch City. No support was given an executive minute for the introduction of a "slow down" sign as s further aid to pedestrian and other traffic.
