Woman Dies On Liner
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) SYDNEY, October 3. A young New Zealand woman had died in the liner Wdnganella while crossing the Tasman, Sydney police announced today. Police said the woman. Mrs Elva Woods, aged 22, of Tui street, Auckland, was a diabetic. She lapsed into a coma soon after the Wanganella left New Zealand and died on Monday without regaining consciousness. Mrs Woods was travelling alone in the liner. Police believe she was on a holiday visit to her brother, who lives in Wollongong, south of Sydney. Her husband is still in New Zealand.
