Mr de Maknenche Is at Now Plymouth . making preliminary arrangements and selecting casts and will return ‘to Christchurch about the end of this month. Then he will start the rehearsal* for “The Three Musketeers," the adaptation of Dumas’ novel by Charles Brousard, which will be presented by the Phoenix Theatre in the city tn December. In January Mr de Mairnanche will be a tutor at the New Zealand . Drama Council’s 10-day residential summer school at Massey College. This is the fourth time he has been appointed a tutor. The director of the school this year will be Doris Fitten, .tfaa producer for the Independent Theatre inSydney.
