CHURCH SERVICE BY WOMEN
Synod Considers Bin The constitution of a council to suggest and define avenues of service for women to the Anglican Church is toe subject of a bill which received its first reading at the Synod of the Diocese of Christchurch yesterday. The council would also select candidates for various work, be responsible for their training, advise on conditions of employment for fulltime workers and collect and administer money. Last year the synod decided the position of women to the church should be better defined.
