H.M.S. KENT, Britain’s third guided-missile destroyer, sliding down the slipway, in Belfast, Northern Ireland. She was launched by Princess Marina, Duchess of Kent. The armaments of the 5000-ton ship Will include three guided-missile systems and four radar-controlled 4.5in guns in twin mountings. For anti-submarine work, she will have a helicopter carrying detection devices and homing torpedoes.
