MAORI BOY MISSING
Police Fear For Safety
(NX. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Oct. 1. Police fear for the safety of a 13-year-old Maori boy who has been missing in the Te Araroa district for more than a week. A general search is still being conducted for the boy, Hirini (Syd) Mulligan, who lives with his grandparents about three miles from Te Araroa.
The boy was last seen to tie up a horse in a paddock on September 23 before entering the bush. The boy is of medium build. sft 4in, with brown eyes and black, curly hair. The search will continue tomorrow.
