UNITED NATIONS WEEK
Activities Planned By City Branch
United Nations Week will be celebrated throughout the world beginning on October 22. In New Zealand, branchei of the United Nations Association will arrange meetings and gatherings to mark the occasion. The association's Christchurch branch has arranged several activities, including a panel discussion on the future of the United Nations. This will emphasise the Berlin and Congo situations The branch has also planned displays in the windows of several city stores. On United Nations Day. October 23, the New Zealand Broadcasting Service will present a national network programme.
