League’s Link With Family Union
The League of Mothers lias remained linked with the International Union of Family Organisations, says the Dominion annual report of the league. “The union is an organisation which stresses the importance of the family,” the report says. “It is hoped that co-operation with and information from the union will prove of help to the League of Mothers in New Zealand. The union is the only international organisation whose mission is to co-ordinate the efforts of those who concentrate on the living conditions and welfare of families.” The league is one of 220 organisations from 42 countries belonging to the union, the report says. Although it has taken time to develop regular communication, useful information is now coming to hand and will be distributed to the provinces.
