Cricket, 1961: P. P. W. Morris (Auckland). Soccer: D. McVey (Otago). Badminton: Lee Tuck Chew (Otago). Men’s indoor basketbail: T. Morris (Canterbury), P. Betts (Victoria), R. Edwards (Victoria). Crosscountry: R. Farmer (Canterbury). Golf: D. S. M. Crombie (Victoria). Men's hockey: K. Thomson (Canterbury). A. Read (Canterbury), D. Padgett (Victoria). Table tennis: P. Alexander (Canterbury Agriculture), T. Cockfleld (Auckland). Smallbore shooting: P. Stock (Canterbury).. ,
