Athletics Lecture Tour By Coach
(NJt. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Sept. 22. Mr A L Lydiard will start a five weeks’ sponsored lecture tour next month in conjunction with the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Coaches’ Association. He will speak to coaches, and possibly the public, in 19 centres. The purpose of the lectures is to “familiarise coaches
throughout New Zealand with the training and conditioning methods which led to the success of Halberg, Snell and Magee." Mr Lydiard will be in Nelson on November 6, Greymouth, November 8 and 9. Christchurch. November 10, 11 and 12. Timaru, November 13, and Dunedin, November M. 15 and Id.
