FVM.IC NOVICK WAIPARA COUNTY COUNCIL HAWARDEN-WAIKARI WATER SUPPLY AND SEWERAGE LOAN, 1961. PUBLIC NOTICE OF PROPOSED APPLICATION FOR SANCTION OF LOAN Notice is hereby given that the Waipara County Council proposes at its meeting to be held on the 9th day of October, 1961, to consider a motion to apply to the Local Authorities Loans Board tor its sanction to the borrowing of the sum of Ninety-three thousand five hundred pounds (£93,500) tor the purposes of meeting the cost of constructing works to provide a piped water supply in the Hawarden - Waikari Water Supply Area and sewerage and sullage disposal systems in the Hawarden and Waikari Urban Drainage areas and incidental expenses in connection therewitH. The security for the loan shall be a special rate of two and onetenth pence (2.1 d in the Pound on the Capital Value of all rateable property in the HawardenWaikari Water Supply and Sewerage Special Rating Area, which shall be defined as comprising the several properties more particularly described in the Special Roll for such Area. It is not proposed to levy or collect the above-mentioned special rate, but to meet the loan charges from the proceeds of rates and/or charges and fees levied pursuant to Sections 118 to 123 and 125 of the Counties Act. 1966, and from the general revenues of the County of Waipara. Any person having any objection to the proposed application is called upon to submit the same in writing to the Waipara County Council not later than the day preceding the said meeting.
