Moscow Visit Report
(N .Z.P. A.-Reuter—Copyright) PARIS, September 22 THie Belgian Foreign Minister (Mr Paul-Henri Spaak) reported to the N.A.T.O. Permanent Council in Paris yesterday on his meeting with Mr Khrushchev in Moscow. A statement issued afterwards said Mr Spaak had made a "private visit” to the N.A.T.O. headquarters during which he informed the council of his seven-hour talks last Tuesday with the Soviet Prime Minister. Earlier, he told reporters In Brussels: “Mr Khrushchev and I could see we were both in favour of negotiations when things get difficult, which is the case now.”
According to political observers, he had obviously received Mr Khrushchev’s consent to report to the NATO council on the Moscow talks.
