OVERTURNED CAR
Young Man Killed (N.Z. Press Association) NEW PLYMOUTH. Sept. 17. A 24-year-old single man was killed instantly when his car failed to take a bend on the Whakapirau Valley road, near Kawhia, today. He was: Rima Robert Tali! Hohaia, of Whakapirau Valley road, Kinohaku. The only other passenger in the car, Mr D. Tuteao, was uninjured. The accident occurred at 11.15 a.m. on a steep, twisting, loose-metalled section of the road.
After leaving the road, Mr Hohaia's car climbed the bank and turned over, pinning the driver beneath it.
