Kicked Man In Street Fight
(NX Press Association) NAPIER, Sept. 17. A 28-year-old workman. William Stewart Jackson, of Napier, who kicked a man lying on the ground during a fight in a Dunedin street on January 19 of this year, was sentenced in the Magistrate’s Court to six weeks’ gaoL He appeared for sentence before Mr W. A. Harlow. S.M., after having been convicted last Monday of two charges of assault He had pleaded guilty.
