A very comprehensive array of speed-boats will be on show at the New Brighton Power Boat Club’s stand at the Boat Show. A total of 15 boats will be shown, and they will cover all types which are commonly seen in action on Lake Forsythe and other waters in the Canterbury district. Owners of the boats 1 on display will be in attendance at the stand. Would-be pur. chasers of boats will be able to get first-hand information from the club members on such subjects as the best types of boat for a particular job, and which types of boats are most suited to the water condition likely to be encountered around Christchurch. In addition to the
motor-boat exhibits, there will he a large range of boats and accessories of all kinds shown in the stands of the commercial firms When added to the value of the other equipment on display, including rowing craft, water-ski-ing equipment and water safety gear, the total value if the exhibits will be over £lOO,OOO.
