A HOLIDAY ON THE WATER

Where are you going for your holidays this summer? Are you going to somewhere near rivers, lakes or seas? Where there is an expanse of water? Are you in the habit of watching yachts and power boats on the water? Of thinking how relaxing or how thrilling it must be to take part in such pastimes? Why haven’t you taken part before? Is it because you have a vague notion that it is dangerous?

To answer these last objections to water sports is one of the main aims of this boats show. Organised by the New Brighton Power Boat Club, the show lays emphasis on safety in the water. The aim of the exhibition is to show the public quite clearly that there is no danger in power boating or other water sports, as long as they are carried out with due regard to the safety regulations which have been
