Representative Matches In Lower Grades

Several Canterbury lower grade representative teams played matches on Saturday. Results were:— Canterbury under-20 14, Nelson 3. ’ Canterbury juniors 28, Hurunui 12. North Canterbury under--20 18. Canterbury under-18 8. North Canterbury under17 3, Canterbury under--16 3.

Playing at Lancaster Park South, Hurunui provided stern opposition to the Canterbury junior XV, scoring the first two tries and leading, 9-5, at half-time.
