Two Hurt When Car Hits Pole
The driver and a passenger were injured when a car struck a pole in the centre of Moorhouse avenue, near Selwyn street, about 12.5 a.m. yesterday. „ Robert Henry Taylor, of 33 Montreal street, the driver, suffered minor head Injuries, and Miss Evelyn Hellyer, of 33 Toby street. New Brighton, suffered a broken no«e and lacerations. They were treated at the casualty department of the Christchurch Hospital and sent home.
