CONFIRMATION SERVICES
V isiting Bishops To Officiate Confirmation services until mid-November in the Diocese of Canterbury will be conducted by visiting bishop!) while the Bishop of Christchurch (the Rt. Rev. A. K Warren) is recovering from an operation. Confirmations will be conducted this week-end by the Rt. Rev. E J. Rich, of Wellington. Bishop Rich was assistant bishop to the late Most Rev R. H. Owen, Primate of New Zealand. The Rt Rev. M L. Wiggins Bishop of Southern Victoria Nyanza. who is on furlough in Christchurch, the Rt Rev W. J. Thompson, formerly Bishop of Iran, who is visiting Rangiora. and the Bishop of Nelson (the Rt. Rev F O Hulme-Moir) will also conduct confirmation services.
