Accommodation In Hotels
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, August 25. The improvement of hotel accommodation would be a primary aim of the Government in revising the licensing laws, the Minister of Justice (Mr Hanan) said. “It is my hope that Parliament will approve changes that will help the Licensing Control Commission to see that sufficient accommodation is provided where it is required,” he said. “I am satisfied that some licensees could do much more than they are doing to provide accommodation for travellers.” Mr Hanan was replying to a question asked in the House of Representatives by Mr H. G. R. Mason (Opposition, Waitakere) earlier this session.
