(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) SAN ANTONIO (Texas), August 24. Two United States Air Force pilots today stepped from a space cabin in which they had spent 17 days—the time required for a return trip to the moon. The simulated space vehicle had not left the ground, but the two officers lived in pressure equal to that of 33,500 feet above sea level They reported no ill effects. Between periods of rest they worked at the controls of a behaviour simulator which fed them problems to best their alertness.
