(N Z Press Association) , DUNEDIN, August 25. At the end of the play in the New Zealand women's basketball tournament tomorrow afternoon, the North Island v. South Island game will be played. After watching four days of basketball, the selectors announced their teams today. These are: South Island; C. McMaster (Canterbury), goal scorer: J. Dunlop (Canterbury), goal attack; —. Edmonds (Canterbury). wing attack; A. Blair (Otago), centre (vice-cap-tain); L. Muir (Otago), wing defence; M. O'Neill (Southland). goal defence; E Simpson (Otago), goalkeeper (captain). North Island.—M. Te Moananui (Rotorua); J. Powell (Auckland); E. Anderson (Wanganui), captain; C. Cole (Auckland), vice-captain; C. Robinson (Rotorua), A. Hahn (Rotorua); H. Kilby (Wellington). Emergencies.—South Island: A. Renton (Otago). R. Quirke Otago), M Neiman (Canterbury). North Island: M. O’Leary Wellington), M. Johnston < Wellington), B. Cumberpatch 'Hawke's Bay). The selection panels were: South Island: Miss E. F. George (convener), Mesdames P. M. Ford and D. Shannahan. North Island: Mesdames J Lodge (convener), M. Pile, and J. McCann.
