Air Violation Alleged
(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) LISBON, August 25. An aircraft of the United Nations organisation 'had violated Angolan air space by flying over the port of Santo Antonio do Zaire, near the Congo border, the correspondent of the Portuguese Lusitania news agency in northern Angola reported yesterday. The correspondent said the aircraft flew over on Wednesday at a low height in conditions that might have caused it to be shot down if the air defence authorities had so decided. The only official statement on the incident so far was confirmation that “the air space of Angola has been violated.”
