BARRIER ARMS FOR CAR PARK AT HAREWOOD.—The new barrier arms which have been installed at the entrance to the car park at the Christchurch airport. When a shilling is placed in the coin box the arm goes up and permits a car to enter. After the car presses on a rubber pad the arm is automatically lowered. The shilling fee covers parking for an unlimited period. The system is expected to be in operation by Friday.
